We are currently hiring a Kitchen Manager! Apply here or on Indeed.
Main duties include:
Food preparation and production: making sandwiches, soups, sauces, sides, sweets and baked goods (all grab-and-go)
Planning: menu planning, food ordering, receiving and checking deliveries, recipe costing
Cleaning & organizing: keeping a clean work environment at all times, organizing food products (including fridge/freezer, dry storage, and equipment), dishwashing, deep cleans
Managing people: you’ll manage between 2-5 people (currently 3) and their schedules; ensure standards are being met or exceeded, handle call-outs, assign tasks, etc.
Working with our team: you’ll be an integral part of the management team at Kestrel, collaborating with our cafe manager, production manager, and ownership.
Qualifications:
- Positive, can-do attitude and desire to be a part of a hard-working team
- 2 years of kitchen experience required
- Capable of multitasking
