Chelchele – Kochere, Ethiopia

Maple Syrup, Blueberry, Lime

From: $18.25

From the kebele, or village, of Chelchele comes a traditional, yet amazing example of how interesting African coffees can be! Like many Ethiopian coffees, this is grown by many small land holders and the coffee is delivered to the Chelchele washing station for processing and then is divided into lots. At times, these washing stations can see hundreds of farmers each day, so diversity between lots can vary greatly! This coffee has tons of syrupy sweetness wrapped in blueberries– it reminds us of a breakfast of blueberry pancakes and syrup with orange juice on the side.

Location: Kochere District
