We’re so excited to have this coffee! We’ve been able to get 2 bags out this 10 bag lot, which means we’ve got about 60 pounds total. This is such an interesting coffee for so many reasons:
- It comes from single farmer from a small farm with high altitude in Brazil
- It is Cereja Descascado processed, which is basically a natural pulp process where they ferment the coffee in the fruit without the skin
- It is 100% single varietal Bourbon
- It is from the first and only coffee dominion (land designation) in Brazil.
All that aside, this coffee has an incredibly complex and interesting taste. Cereals and sweet grains make up the foundation for lots of interesting fruit notes ranging from black raspberry to banana to pineapple.
